Paying with crypto?

Cryptocurrency Payment Guide

At Twelve & Company, we proudly accept cryptocurrency payments to provide our customers with secure, fast, and modern payment options. This guide walks you through the entire process, from choosing your preferred crypto to completing your transaction securely.

Accepted Cryptocurrencies

We currently accept the following cryptocurrencies:

  • Bitcoin (BTC)
  • Ethereum (ETH)
  • USD Coin (USDC) (Stablecoin Only)

All cryptocurrency transactions are final and irreversible due to the nature of blockchain technology. Please read the full terms carefully before proceeding.

Key notes

  • Final Transactions – All crypto payments are final and non-refundable, so double-check the details before sending.
  • KYC Verification Required – Customers must complete Know Your Customer (KYC) verification before paying with crypto.
  • Exact Amount & Network Fees – Payments must match the invoice amount, and network fees are the customer’s responsibility.
  • Processing & Security – Orders are processed after blockchain confirmation, and transactions are secured through Coinbase Commerce.

How To Pay With Cryptocurrency

Step 1: Choose Crypto at Checkout

During checkout, select “Cryptocurrency” as your payment method on Shopify or notify Twelve & Company you wish to pay with crypto. You will be prompted to complete your transaction using a QR code or wallet address.

Step 2: Verify Your Identity (KYC Process)

To comply with regulations and prevent fraud, we require customers to complete a Know Your Customer (KYC) verification before processing cryptocurrency payments. This includes:

  • A government-issued ID
  • Proof of address (utility bill or bank statement)
  • A short video verification to confirm identity
Step 3: Generate the Payment Invoice

After KYC approval, an invoice will be generated with the exact amount due in your chosen cryptocurrency. The invoice will be valid for a limited time (usually 15-30 minutes) due to crypto price fluctuations.

Step 4: Send Payment

Using your crypto wallet, scan the provided QR code or manually enter our wallet address to send the exact amount displayed on the invoice. Ensure you:

  • Double-check the wallet address (transactions cannot be reversed)
  • Send the full amount, including any network fees
  • Use a compatible blockchain network (e.g., Ethereum for ETH, Bitcoin for BTC)
Step 5: Transaction Confirmation

Once the payment is sent, it must be confirmed on the blockchain. Confirmation times vary based on network congestion:

  • Bitcoin: 10-60 minutes (6 confirmations required)
  • Ethereum: 5-15 minutes (12 confirmations required)
  • USDC: 5-10 minutes

You will receive a payment confirmation email once we verify the transaction on our end.

Step 6: Order Processing & Shipping

Once payment is confirmed, your order will be processed and shipped. You will receive tracking details via email.

Important Cryptocurrency Payment Policies

Transaction Finality

Due to the nature of blockchain transactions, all cryptocurrency payments are final and cannot be reversed or refunded. If you overpay or send funds to the wrong address, we are not responsible for recovering those funds.

Crypto Price Volatility

The cryptocurrency exchange rate is locked at the time of invoice generation. You must send the exact amount within the given time frame to avoid payment rejection due to price fluctuations.

Network Fees

Customers are responsible for blockchain network fees when making payments. These fees vary depending on network congestion and must be covered separately from your total payment amount.

Security Measures
  • We process all crypto payments through Coinbase Commerce to ensure security and proper tracking.
  • Transactions are encrypted and secure via blockchain technology.
  • Orders above a certain threshold may require additional verification before processing.
